Third Grade Science:

Students at Alamo School will have 2 Science classes per week this year.  Here is where you will find the curriculum being covered.

There are 4 modules covered throughout the school year.  They are:

1.  My Journey West: How can we understand and describe the land and water on Earth?

2. Master of Materials: How can we describe materials as different from one another and understand how their properties relate to their use?

3. Save the Island: How do natural processes shape the Earth?

4.  A Garden for Life: How do living things in an environment depend on one another and what do they need to grow?

1.  The Ultimate Playground: How are objects affected by the forces of push and pull?

2.  Welcome to the Biodome: How do plants’ and animals’ life cycles help them survive?

3.  How to Survive an Ice Age: What is the relationship between an organism and its environment?

4.  Weather Warning HQ: What is the weather like around the world?
